Viann, Certified Veterinary Technician

Vi obtained a BES in Biology from St. Cloud State University and an AAS in Veterinary Technology from the University of MN, Waseca.

She joined the veterinary field because she had always wanted to help animals, and has been with Carver Lake since 1996. Her love for animals is certainly apparent in her own pet care. Vi is the proud owner of 5 standard schnauzers, Tressa, Dusty, Mataya, Bella, Crazy Callie, and a black lab named Brio.

She is very interested in the world of purebred dog shows and spends her free time showing, grooming, and training her own pets.

  Kelly, Certified Veterinary Technician

Kelly graduated from Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN in 1998 with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology and joined Carver Lake's team that same year.

At the clinic Kelly has a special interest in helping clients with guinea pigs, rabbits, and other pocket pets. She has always enjoyed the medical field and loves working with companion animals.

Kelly has two cats named Tootsie and Polly, and an English Setter named Lenny. Kelly and Lenny spend their free time traveling to local hospitals where they visit with patients and their families.  She also keeps busy with her husband and their two children.

  Jessica, Certified Veterinary Technician

Jessica received her AAS in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University in 2002. Shortly after graduation she started at Carver Lake.

Jessica has always had a passion for rehabilitating animals and enjoys educating the public on proper pet care. She has a Black Lab, Ceasar, a Manx, Mojo, an Albino Corn Snake, Ekans (A.K.A Snake Poo.), and a Ball Python named Mordred. 

When Jessica is not at the clinic she spends her time spoiling her own pets, attending concerts, and is a cosmetic consultant for Mary Kay.

Amber graduated from Ridgewater College with her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in May of 2006.  The following year she joined Carver Lake Veterinary Center's team as a Certified Veterinary Technician.

Amber's love for animals and her interest in the medical profession have always played a big part in her life.  It is no surprise that she, her mother, and her sister all work in the veterinary field!  In 2006 Amber adopted 3 kittens from the same litter and named them Jasper, Keesh, and Posh.  

When Amber isn't at Carver Lake she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snowboarding with her boyfriend, swimming, running, and of course snuggling with her cats.

Katie graduated in 2003 from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her Grooming, Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician Certificates.  She then spent 3 years in the Chicago suburbs and moved to Minnesota in the spring of 2006.  She joined our team in October of 2007.

Katie grew up in Northern Iowa on a farm which definitely explains her love of pigs!  She always enjoyed taking care of her own animals on the family farm and knew she wanted to have a part in the medical aspect of caring for all types of animals.  She currently has one crazy mut named Marcie Marie who is very affectionately explained as a German-Border-Chow-Wieler-Terridor.

When Katie isn't at Carver Lake she enjoys spending time with her husband Chad, beautiful daughter Reagan, and of course Marcie.  Katie also enjoys gardening, dancing to polka music and spending as much time outside as she can.
