Bentley and Shayna are adorable Havanese who belong to Doug and Rhonda.  They are wonderful, active dogs who enjoy walking and swimming.  After a busy day of exercise, they also love to sit on the couch and watch TV with their family.

Bentley and Shayna are special for so many reasons, but one thing that sets them apart is that they volunteer at senior facilities snuggling with and entertaining the residents.  Doug and Rhonda love their 4-legged companions and are happy to have them in their lives.

Levi is a gorgeous Shetland Sheepdog who belongs to Jeff, Shannon, and their family.

Shelties are known for their energy and Levi is certainly no exception.  He loves playing with his family and chasing his feline sister, Hollywood, around the house.

Prior to adopting Levi, they had lost another special dog.  There was a huge hole in their hearts until Levi came along.  They are very grateful for the love that Levi has brought back into their lives and happily return that love to him.

Checkers is beautiful Rex Rabbit who belongs to Gary, Patrice and their family.  Like most rabbits, Checkers enjoys eating and spending time with her family.

Checkers is special in many ways, but her most entertaining trait is her funny "mid-air" jumps.  Her family loves her very much and are happy to have her in their lives.

Link is a four year old black Labrador retriever owned by Micah and Missy.  Link enjoys going to the park, playing fetch, and chasing lasers and rabbits.  He also enjoys eating, swimming, and cuddling up with his family.

Link is special because he tries to cheer people up when they are sad by giving them kisses.  He is a big dog, but he thinks he can fit in your lap and wants to be close to those he loves.

Bailey is a one year old Goldendoodle owned by Yolanda, Jens, and Thaya.  Bailey is an active young dog and enjoys swimming, walking, running, and playing with her toys or her family.

She is so special to the family because no matter what mood they are in, she will always make them happier.  She is a very gentle and loving dog.

Gracie is 10 month old Golden retriever puppy that belongs to Jann and Teri.  In the summer she loves to play in her pool and with her "chuck-a-duck."  She also joins her family in the Boundary Waters canoeing. 

Gracie is so special to Jann and Teri because she adapts well to any situation.  She likes to meet other dogs and people on her walks in the park.

Harlie is an 8 1/2 month old Boxer puppy owned by Mark, Lora and Family.  She enjoys playing with her squeaky toys, chewing on rawhides, sleeping in the sun, and socializing with people.

Harlie is so special to her family because she is energetic and loveable.  She makes them laugh by wiggling her butt and chasing the laser pointer around the house.

Tex is a five year old Golden retriever.  Angie and Brett state, "He is The Awesome Dog!"  Tex enjoys playing frisbee and going to the dog park.

We have seen Tex a lot recently for orthopedic surgeries on his knees and he has been a trooper.  We can't wait for him to run around on his new knees without any pain!

Mikko is a six month old Cockapoo that lives with Lindsey, Jessica, and Dylan.  He is pictured here with Lindsey and Dylan.  He has a lot of fun playing with his sisters and brother by chasing them around.  He also enjoys playing with other dogs.

Mikko is so special to Lindsey, Jessica, and Dylan because he is very loving and is the cutest puppy ever!  He is very obedient and loves to show off his bag of tricks: sit, lay, roll over and shake. 

Berkeley is a nine month old chocolate Labrador retriever owned by Emily and Brent.  She is an active young pup!  She enjoys going for walks, swimming, chasing rabbits, playing with toys, and meeting new dog friends. 

Berkeley is so special to Emily and Brent because of her sweet green eyes.  She always makes them laugh, and is lovingly called a pogo stick.

Baron is a 2 year old German shepherd owned by Paula and Mark.  He enjoys going for walks and playing fetch with his family.

Baron is so special because he loves to chew on ice cubes.

Romeo is Domestic Shorthair cat owned by Mike and Trudy.  He is a lover boy according to his parents.  When he isn't snuggling up with them he enjoys playing with all of his cat toys.

Mike and Trudy call Romeo their miracle cat and we agree.  We got to know Romeo very well as he was at Carver Lake frequently for the treatment of megacolon.  He went to the University of Minnesota for a surgery to fix the problem, and is now enjoying all the time at home and not at the clinic.  He remained a trooper through the whole thing and is as lovey dovey as ever.
