April, who has been grooming pets since 1998, joined Carver Lake’s team in 2014. April has shared her life with multiple animal companions over the years including mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, cats and dogs and has taken great delight in each of them.
In 2001 her husband joined the Navy and as a result she has had the pleasure of grooming pets in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and California before moving back to Minnesota in late 2012.
When not at work, April spends her time with her husband and her two sons Carl and Torrin. She is owned by one cat, Waffle- who rules the house- a beagle mix named Chimay, and one Chihuahua mix named Theo.
