Welcome

Serving cats, dogs, and small companion animals/mammals. We also offer pet grooming services

At Carver Lake Veterinary Center, we strive to be "your other family doctors" because we know that your pets are part of your family.  We provide top notch medical care for pets and exceptional customer care & education for owners.  We believe that when there is a partnership between a veterinary clinic and a pet owner, then our pets are able to receive the best care possible.

All of our doctors are here to serve your companion animals needs. In addition, we are proud that we service special interests in the following areas:

  • The Special Needs of Our Feline Friends - We know that bringing cats to the vet isn't the most convenient or fun things, which is why we strive to make feline visits as low-stress as possible.
  • The Canine Athlete - Canine Athletes have special needs and Dr. Kate An Hunter is available to help.
  • Exotic Companion Mammals - Carver Lake knows that all pets, regardless of their size, are important members of your family.
  • Animal Behavior - Many of our doctors have a special interest and additional training in dealing with behavior issues in dogs, cats, and small companion mammals.

Meet Baxter, April's Pet of the Month!

Baxter is a 2-year old, Australian Shepherd who belongs to Jim and Jennifer.

Baxter stays true to his breed by spending his time sheep herding, as well as playing frisbee and snuggling.

One of the most amazing things about Baxter is his awareness of his surroundings.  An example of this is that ever since witnessing his owner, Jim, slip and fall on ice, Baxter warms Jim if they are about to walk somewhere slippery!  He sure is an incredible dog!!

Employee of the Month

Meet Stefanie, April's Employee of the Month!

Stefanie is our Lead Client Care Coordinator, and to many of our clients, she is the "face and voice" of Carver Lake.  Stefanie is one of the most well known faces of our team because her smile is the first thing that greets visitors, and her cheerful voice the first thing they here when they call.

In addition to her duties as our Lead CCC, Stefanie is also our PlayCare Coordinator.  Thanks to Stefanie's attention, the program continues to grow as a safe environment for our puppies to socialize, learn, and most importantly, burn off some energy!

We'd be lost without you Stef - thank you for everything you do!!!

Happy April - Bring on Spring!

April is Prevention of Animal Cruelty Month

Spring Cleaning for Pet Owners

Spring has finally sprung!  That means it's time to start our spring cleaning list to make the environment safer and more fun for us and our pets.

Parasite Prevention

Hopefully you have continued your pets' parasite prevention throughout the winter months, but if you haven't, it's definitely time to start back up!!!

Happy Administrative Professional's Day!

Administrative Professional's Day is celebrated in April each year.  We are lucky to have many amazing Clients Care Coordinators that are worth celebrating every day of the year!

Happy World Vet Day!

Although World Vet Day is technically the last Saturday in April, we want to take this whole month to celebrate our amazing team of veterinarians!

Poop Happens

Dear Curry,

I am happy to see that Spring is coming but my yard is a mess with winter poo. It's so gross but none of us want to pick it up. Can we just leave it there and step around it?

Signed,
Poopy Dog
